The all-new Mercedes GLB is powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder with exhaust turbocharger that produces 221 horsepower, it's mated to an AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 8G dual clutch transmission which sends power to the wheels. Mercedes claims the acceleration from 0-60 mph takes only 5.1 seconds which is impressive for an SUV weighing 3600 lbs.
The GLB comes with an impressive list of standard features including 18-inch aluminum wheels, LED headlights, daytime running and fog lights, heated power mirrors with turn signal indicators, power front seats with memory settings, dual-zone climate control, an HD radio with 8-speakers, navigation, and Apple CarPlay\Android Auto wireless phone connectivity.
Safety features are abundant with 9 airbags, a rear view camera, 4-wheel anti-lock brakes with brake assist, hill hold control and hill descent control, a tire specific low tire pressure warning system, Active Brake Assist with Emergency Braking, pedestrian detection, mbrace Connect restricted driving mode, rain sensing wipers and a driver attention alert, all as standard equipment.
Additional customization can be done by adding optional equipment including several wheel options which allow the buyer to upgrade to 19- or 20-inch wheels, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, Panorama Roof, Blind Spot Warning, a head-up display, SiriusXM radio, Burmester Surround Sound System, 64-color ambient lighting and wireless charging.
